Have an N14 93' serial number 11713479 cpl 1380 N14-350P. Tag on engine says intake .014' exh .027" injector 125" lbs. I believe it is an stc as it has the oil tubes to the injectors. searching the internet there is two different way depending on model of N14. Need help finding correct procedure and special tools if needed. Thanks

the correct method is referred to as the outer base method. A google search will give you printed info on how to do it. You should use a dial type torque wrench to adjust the injectors. It is suggested that you run the engine with the oil supply to the stc valve blocked off to purge any oil from the stc tappets before adjustment. You are bottoming the injector plungers in the cups & loading the assembly to a specific value 125 inlb.
Celect engines use the same procedure but a different value for the injectors.
