Yes. 1 thousand is your insurance deductible.

I had a collision with a deer a couple years back, $8000 in damage, insurance cut me a check for $7000 and kept $1000 for themselves, as the deductible. My $2000 performance bond back at the carrier was untouched.

Ugh...In SoCal staring down winter storms. Headed to Arkansas. Doing the whole "Should I take 10 then across White Sands to the 40" or just push the 40 direct" debate. Apparently the 40 between Albuquerque and Texas is getting hammered again. And its snowing in the mountains above Cajon Pass.

Bout to be an ugly week out here.

Wifey and I were out every holiday from thanksgiving 15' til thanksgiving 16'. I realize those first few holidays didn't count towards raffle. The only holiday we were home for was this past Christmas and together we had something like 190 tickets. Couldn't even win a $500 bone. The drawing was never really an incentive to stay out on holidays as Christmas is the only one we really want to be home for. Last Christmas was a little different as we had just started here 5 weeks earlier were trying to show we wanted to run. I know these things are awarded by luck of the draw and I've never been known to be lucky. If they run this same type of drawing this year it will most definitely not be an incentive to me. I do however want to congratulate all that won something, from the smallest cash prize up to the bike and pickup truck.

I also ran every holiday including Christmas and always had max tickets. None winning.
Never expected to win anything but always thinking it would be nice. Maybe this year I'll sit every holiday. That would be nice also. lol
But now that I know they want us to run them I'll look for other incentives.
