Every one of those companies have been discussed and 'warned' about add nauseum here (as well as dozens and dozens others); and once this thread slips to page two, it STILL won't do any good....people just don't head....even if they read.
"Gotta start somewhere" is the answer you'll get, and they do what they do when they do it.
Newbie truckers. Don't work for these companies. Heed my warning!

dunno, white dog.........I started with Schneider straight out of school over 4 years ago......I like it just fine and have no intention whatsoever of ever leaving (I don't even bother to check the want ads). So, just because someone doesn't like a particular company, doesn't necessarily make it a bad company. The OP listed the favorite whipping boys of the big shot long term / OO crowd without have worked at worked at any, save one. Not a lot of credibility, frankly.

I guess I don't see the point of starting a thread saying not to work for 13 companies when you've only worked for 1 of them. Then again I don't understand alot of things these days. Yea I read alot on here too. That's not personal experience. I can only comment about Schneider and I usually don't even do that since I work on a little 40 man account that most people don't even know about. I'm not qualified to chime in on Van truckload, regional, Bulk, Rail, or the big box store dedicated runs because I don't work on them and they all work very differently than us.
If i did have to chime in and offer advice to an unhappy camper, I'd say Perhaps try a different division before writing a company off completely.Just passing by, jakecat22, SingingWolf and 3 others Thank this. -
