What? Not long enough? Give me a few months I'll make it longer. If I don't get tossed out for speaking my mind first.

Was just giving him a friendly hard time. You know, marathon gaming sessions, a fiance from the firmer ussr bloc...i can't be the only one that though of mail order brides when he mentioned his fiance in the ukraine. Which them led my thought process to the type of person that got a mail order bride from the ussr. Stereotypical socially inept nerds that plays video games all night and fanatical about star wars and star trek.

Not that there is anything really wrong with nerds, Bill Gates and Steve jobs were big newts and between them they basically controlled the world. But they do make a good target for stupid jokes and friendly ribbing.

I don't speak Klingon. But I do know a bit of Russian. Need to work on learning more. One of my coworkers had the same thought about the whole mail order bride thing, but it's not like she has no choice in the matter. That term doesn't bother me, however it is a bit antiquated. People are going to have their opinions about it, and that's fine. And don't think I'm upset about it. I'm definitely no Star Wars fanboy, but I did watch a lot of Star Trek growing up. But I don't have any collectables of either series. I was only 3 or so when Star Wars was released.

I found my girl online totally by chance. One lucky click, and it's the best thing to happen to me. Before my first trip to see her, I had never been anywhere other than the US. It was my first trip by airplane, and my first time out of North America. When I'm not over there, I actually miss it. It's a long flight, but totally worth it. Just this last trip, she had some work to do in Kiev, so I went with her and I got to see where the protests went on in Independance Square and there was a small protest going on nearby while I was there, but just banging on metal barrels. Couldn't help but think about those who lost their lives there.

Got no problem being thought of as nerdy, but if you saw me, nerdy would not be your first thought. But I spent a lot of time with computers growing up and have built my fair share of them. One of which is now in my rig. Small form factor mini-itx build.

I actually have three computers in my rig at this time. My mini-itx unit, my Alienware laptop and my Korg Kronos 61 workstation keyboard. Runs on a custom OS based on the Linux kernel. Used to take lessons a long time ago, but I want to get into it again.

Yeah, just screaming "NERD NERD NERD!!!!!!!":p

I won a galaxy tab e from one of those truck stop skill games just before Christmas, I've turned it into a retro game console complete with a Bluetooth 8bit controller. I've got ps2, super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and classic nes games. I had to throw in a 125gb micro SD card in order to store the games I play. And yes that is final fantasy 9, and yes I'm using cheat codes 20170108_161822.jpg 20170108_161822.jpg

PC gamer here and lately CSGO, League of Legends, EvE online use to do World of Warcraft but got burned out after cataclysm and barely touch it also play Diablo 3 StarCraft 2 use to be big into call of duty black ops 1 and 2 would do local tournaments and Forza Motorsport 2 and 3 did tournaments for it as well all small time stuff I WAS good but never in the of the pros got to play against them a few times though... Can't wait for next unreal tournament hope it has warfare game mode ran a squad back then when 3 came out 90% win rate. I am highly competitive and play everything to win. I probably have more game hours played amongst all the gear I have played the. Most of you have On Duty.. would estimate I use to play 120 hours a week.
Slowed way down when. I had my son though haven't played a game in over a month now
