My local kw dealer just got their 1st fitz truck in . They kinda brokered the sale....
Don't know much about it tho... -
As far as i remember its always been that way .
Powered glider comes from factory with pre emissions engine of your choice installed but no trans or diffs.
Rolling gliders come with diffs but no trans or engine.
This is how it works in canada . -
Quite a few conversations going on about these guys lately...
https://www.instagram.com/fitzgerald_timebombs/Ruthless Thanks this. -
Canada may have different rules, I don't know.
I was talking USA. -
Right now you can get a glider with the motor but no trans or rears from Freightliner, Western Star, Kenworth and Peterbilt. Heck it even says so on the fitz web site. That is how I found out about Pete and KW. Always knew about WS and Freightliner.

And these are the guys that are going to put together the Nikola 1 truck... Lol
-
Yeah, I LOL'd when I heard that.
-
It says on the website they will put in a reman engine at their facility.
I'm talking about the factory, (Kenworth for example),putting in a preemission motor at their factory in a glider.
I don't think that's an option. At least it wasn't mentioned when I spec'd one a while back. -
I might have interpreted that wrong. I do know that Freightliner and Western Star do put a pre emissions motor in gliders.
