Anyone has any info for the school in San Diego? I live in Temecula and have big problem finding a decent school for trucking. I don't want to go through the mill companies. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Great Lakes Truck Driving School in Ohio is good. I was there and a couple guys from San Diego were there at school.

Thank you Chinatown. I checked their website and the program is not listed. I will give them a call, anyway.

I did go last year, but it was not good. I took my test un-prepared and failed twice. For the 3rd time he asked for extra money and that's where I left it. I don't like mickey-mouse business.

I used the GI Bill and It cost $19,000. I went through a 3 month program for CDL and heavy equipment. I don't know how much it would cost you but there were people there that were being funded through a state grant or something like that.

I cannot take such program, Jim. I don't have the funds, cannot afford 3 months in school, and also, I have a job which disqualify me for a freebie. I don't mind going into some debt for a school, but can't find something that I like and, especially, trust, after my last experience. They're all out there for the money, and the government is doing absolutely nothing about it.....
