Depends who you are leasing on to.they all vary.

Many , including who I'm leased to, pay diffently per zone or region. there are good reasons for that. More cities, more Traffic. Weather. Etc.etc so it's factored into rates.

In this firms case getting stuff any direction is seldom if ever an issue. Going north east has a high er pay rate compared to other regions.

As far as Canada, I haul there whenever, ive no issue doing it and it pays better.
But again it's because of generally slightly more hassle with weather or delays in crossing etc. So factored in.
I seldom have crossing issues other than traffic, but sure things come upnl I e the freight not being properly cleared first in their system even when you have th e cleared manifest in hand , sonics cost me 4 or 5 hours to clear up.
No biggie, in the overall scheme of things.

Thank everyone for the excellent information here. I have a few questions if anyone can answer for me. I work in the Indianapolis area for a seasonal gig, Racing hauler driver but live in Florida. What is the 'Busy Season' for RV hauling?

Also, I am considering either drive away or tow away. Based on some research here I can do either but it seems the up front cost for drive away is significantly less than tow away, as well as operating costs. I also work for a few other race teams, some on the West Coast, and travel frequently by air and drive so I have some experience in getting around.

What tow behind vehicle would you suggest for the drive away dingy? Is there an online resource I might be able to find a tow behind?

    Thanks very much.
