Trucker dies in collision in work zone on State Rt. 2

This is a very sad thing, on a personal level. The driver of the tractor trailor is the uncle of our close friend. She is on the way to the funeral as I type this. She said that he was a diabetic and that Troopers have said that his condition may have played a roll in the crash.

 

Not to sound mean...But did they issue a ticket and clean up bill for the accident?

We have a section of road here, 2 teens died in a crash. Their parents were billed for the tree surgeon and ground repair at the accident scene.

 

This is so sad I have drove the road many of times Rt 2 is a very bad road. A guy that went to my school was killed on that road so his mom is now part of the campaign for mothers against tired truckers

 

I have heard of that happening before, not sure if it happened here, but I can find out.
