It is called a dac report. All companies should report every incident and maybe the roads would be safer. As for camera's....All feeds are not live. Only activated by an event. You spew such trash. You should be ashamed of yourself for trashing a company that is trying to make the roads safer. If you do work for them you should quit.

  5. I start training on Monday. I bought the Rand McNally Road Atlas for truck drivers (has all the restricted routes listed) and it cost $60 at a local Love's Truck Stop. I *think* this is the one required for class but not sure.

I would also like a break down on the differences between regional and OTR. More home time with regional? More pay with OTR? Can I do OTR then switch to regional if I want more home time? I am just not sure what to expect. My wife is very supportive - however, I will miss her and my boys terribly. Knowing that I am providing for them helps a lot though.

Otr should be more money since you'll run more miles than regional. Bill in Trenton Ohio is pretty cool, if that's where you're going for training. A map doesn't hurt you have in your bags of tools good investment saves on hitting a few bridges along your way.

Wow....the "DAC" report is used by some companies as a weapon if you quit and they don't like it. if you dont believe that...maybe you should quit.

And if you dont think they can turn on those cameras any ole time they want, you should just stop posting comments, period....ignorance is bliss...have a blissful day

Oh there old wise one. I do know. Check out the link below. Note in paragraph 5 and I quote:

    https://www.lytx.com/en-us/blog/why-a-driver-safety-system-pt-2

"You’ll be happy to know that it’s impossible (yes, impossible!) for someone to retrieve video beyond a triggered video recording. It’s also impossible for someone to look into your vehicle through the video event recorder. Lastly, the event recorder cannot be triggered remotely. Only you, the driver, can activate a recorder through your driving actions or by manually triggering the device. Also, the recorder cannot be pre-programmed to randomly record."

Directly from the Lytx Drivecam website.

As for DAC reports. My comment was directed at IndianaF150's comment about Millis putting every little thing on the DAC report. Obviously there were Incidents. They should be reported. That is what DAC is for. We the drivers have options to request a review of them.

Safety bonus is still there. So is fuel bonus. Mileage bonus is still there for ga regional. Not sure of other regions.

    Diablolover2 Thanks this.
  11. So, I live in Georgia - if I decide to run regional I will get mileage bonus?
