There was a time and place for the Teamsters but I think that time is gone. There are too many companies that run nicer equipment and treat the driver better. These drivers know it and know they are the commodity and go the place that suits them best.

That's much nicer than any Allied rig I ever drove.

Looks ok to me[/QUOTE]
You have a lot of nerve to drive a nice rig and expect to be paid well for doing a good job! I am so tired of these lame mis informed people who think that all union members are lazy! F them! I have worked hard my entire life whether I was Union or non Union and most other people have also! Union or non Union I have been paid well most of my working career or else I didn't work there, because I am worth every #### dollar$$$. I have produced every place I have worked and still do today! You get what you pay for and you deserve what you get. Those of you who have based you anti Union rhetoric based upon your limited experiences with people, not every one is like those that you have had negative experiences with. When you generalize about anything or any group you are going to falsely accuse good hard working people while you spew your BS!Thomasanderson1187, skinnyb01, Terry270 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Assumption is the mother of all #### ups.
Thomasanderson1187 and passingthru69 Thank this. -
I'm not gonna pretend like I've never seen a rusted out union truck cause I have. Seen them in non-union to.
And obviously if we go to a show and I park beside most O/O's chromed, visiored, and lit up trucks there's are gonna be better.
But, it ain't mine. I keep it clean, running right and that's all. -
Coloarto you obviously have pride in what you do and Im sure you keep your truck clean. Ive loaded along side Cassens trucks and they seem to be very well maintained. So not all companies, Union or non-union are created equal. However, in my expierence, most union equipment was junk. I have a friend of mine lost a leg because a deck that was rusted through fell on him. Don't get me wrong, there is some supreme non-union junk too. Equipment was not the point of this thread however.
