See that's my issue I already have yard and classroom time from a different company, 90 degree, off set, parallel, straight back, Pre-Trip,Brake test I already have done all that, actually was on the road for while with a trainer...Jim Palmer you spend a week IN CLASS meet up with a trainer, run 10,000 miles, (while getting paid, are you getting paid IN CLASS there?) you test out, get upgraded then run team until the truck reaches 30,000 miles, then you go back Test out with them and get a 2016 or 17 Freightshaker or PETE...That is one of the reason's I am dragging my feet can't really afford to not get paid for 3-4 weeks, last company I did that with almost lost the house

 

Roehl covers everything here and pays you $500/week. If you drive yourself to Wisconsin they'll pay you 0.11/mile. That helps out alot for me since I drove from AL. The inn has free breakfast and the company caters lunch. The only thing you'd have to buy is food on weekends, laundry detergent, and personal hygiene supplies. It does cost money to use the washer and dryer but I'm splitting that cost with one of the guys in my class.

 

$500 a week IN CLASSROOM? or once you get with trainer, that is BIG game changer if that money is WHILE IN CLASS...

 

In class. Once you're with your driver trainer you get $90/day. After that you get your truck and your pay goes to cpm. Sorry, I should've specified that earlier.

Quick question on that. Did you have a choice? Would they provide a flight or bus ticket if you didn't want to drive up?
