It's around 30k for a crate isx...sucks but it is what it is and every week that truck keeps cashing checks your money ahead.
I'm running a 800hp cat with a million miles...it's gonna lay down....that's why you plan for the future.... -

A single sample alone is fairly useless. If you take one every (or every 2nd) oil change, you can start to track trends in wear particles and substances in the oil.

I think that it is safe to put Rawze in the camp against extended oil drains.

he has a video where he pulls the stick on his own truck at something like 5-7000 miles and the oil was clean as if it had just been changed ....not black at all . he does use a bypass filter also
he just overhauled his truck at almost 1 million miles as it started using water. found an injector cup had been leaking into #6 when he pulled the head. except for the #6 cylinder that because of the water leak everything else was like new and still serviceable. they measured everything inside and he could have just changed that liner and put it back together.
of course with the amount of miles he chose to overhaul everything.
I also found something interesting is that when he changes the oil he adds a gallon of standard 80-90 gear lube to the crankcase
