Modern electronics should be fine especially anything with an external power supply or a PC tower with an Interchangeable PSU as modern PSUs are capable of delivering consistent power to the more sensitive components than they were years ago now say you have e a Xbox original with an internal power board that your average user could not replace it is older tech and more prone to poorer power delivery and would be difficult to repair that I could see being concerned about.
I had a laptop I ran off a 40 dollar inverter for over a year until I forgot to secure it and screen cracked was not worth replacing screen never had any issues with the laptops power brick or stability of the system and this was with modified cooling fan via drimmel tool alterations to chassis and them overclocking the HP laptop via a hacked firmware update to the bios.
Tldr modern electronic that use a power brick or internal power board should be fine
Would a smaller inverter last longer?

Dual AMD r9 290x both on water cooling
Asus rampage v extreme
And 32gb of Corsair dominator ddr4
All powered by a Corsair ax1500i
Feeds 3 23 inch Asus thin bezel monitors. The entire rig with three monitors pulls around 1400 watts on my killawatt. But I usually run my monitors on a different circuit just to save on the amperage pull on the breaker. -
