Rand McNally TND-760/HD-100

You can check but I have been round and round with this.....They will not work. I even bought a new 500K to 250K OBD 2 connector and when you hook the RM TND 760 up to Truck it sets off all type of Lights on dash and cannot bee used the RM unit will not read higher data of new Trucks

 

Great you work for RM... I said I will check... I do not handle Fleet Items and I need Fleet support to answer this...

 

I sure do not work for RM, I have 4 of these things for my trucks and they are worthless now and they do not care

 

I said I will ask RM Fleet, I did already, it is Friday 9pm CST. RM is closed. I E-Mailed a VP that I know and hopefully we should have an answer this weekend if not next week.

So no need to continue on posting in multiple threads the same thing. It will not resolve any issues and until I get an answer from Fleet, all we can do is wait.

Ok Thank You . As info I have spoken to their engineering department ( least that is who they said they were) and a Customer Service Manager several times and was told they have no plans to support this newer OBD

 

If you spoke to the CS for the stand alone, then they are not Fleet CS.. Let's wait and see what I get back. I don't work with the Fleet side so I really do not know.

I am guessing that you did not hear back from the VP you know at Rand McNally

 

I replied a few days ago on the support thread. That is why we should not "shotgun" the same post over threads. Hard to keep track of. I post a reply and you ask me in another thread.

With the 760 can you only send/receive emails through the portal? Meaning everybody has to be equipped with RM equipment to communicate. Or can I setup my personal email address and receive emails.

 

Let me check on this.. I do not work much with the 760..

But, what I am understanding is that you wish to communicate to others via the "Portal". I thought the "Portal" is just a web interface?
