Don't know about Arizona, but $2000 would probably be closer to right for 48 states. In NC mine runs $1800 for all 48.Price depends on how many states your going to run.

Who did you call when you "called around"? If you are going to register it in AZ then the Arizona DMV could tell you exactly what it will be, why ask anyone else?

Your apportioned plate cost will depend on the states/provinces you decide to run in,and your mileage estimates for those areas.Submit your app. to the state, they calculate the percentages and costs, then they let you know.

In IL (and I think all states) you will be apportioned for all states and provinces. And as an new entrant you will use estimated miles. So whoever issues them in AZ should give you accurate number

No,you can pick any states you want to run.If you think you're only going to run local, pick the few states you are going to run in.Most people pick all, because it doesn't have much effect on the final cost.Lots of companies leave Canada off, that don't operate there.

That $1640. will just give you an idea.Unless you submit the exact same states to run, percentages, and mileages as that fellow, yours will be different,no two are the same. The state is the only one that can give you the exact total.Unless you have their computer program, and want to try and figure it yourself.
