Some 2003 Pre-Emission Volvos even came with a Cummins ISX15 Pre EGR Engine.

Is the isx15 a good engine? But in an 03 t600. Compared to pre emission n14 & Detroits that came in pre 03 t600

60%less parts and 60%more labor to work on then the N14.

Our mechanics didn't like them. Electrical problems and fussy with fuel filtration standards.

The one that doesn't break down... to each his own. I like mechanical or electronic.

Axle ratio 2, 64? I think it to low if you climb in mountains, unless you have 550 hp engine. Best ratio 3,25 with 500 hp. 44000 load easy uphill.

You would think... But you would also be shocked to find that's Wrong too... Just like i was.
When you change the rear ratio, the gear selection in the trans changes given the similar grease and load. The end result the same work is done.

It's like saying if you put 24.5 rubber on a truck it won't pull anymore.. We know that's not true you might just split a extra gear because of the change in gearing effect from taller rubber..
