Leases are popular for trucking companies because they make more profit. The driver is buying the fuel and paying the bills and qualifies for food stamps.

I've talked to lease operators numerous times and their jaw drops when they find out you can make a very good loving driving a truck. One prime driver in particular thought I was lying until I whipped out my pay stub.

Just what I've been able to dig out here and other articles. One guy has a post on here he keeps updated and he says he gets the minimum $1125.00 every week. I used to see them a lot in Tennessee when I lived there, hauling Perdue chicken, but that's been a few years; that plant is closed now.

It's a lease purchase. Just like their new one the "T" truck. Unless you're independently wealthy, don't do that one either. I've heard stories of people losing their house, cars, ECT.

check with the agent fleets ,swift (not the one your thinking of) let's go, Diversified. They pay percentage and he'll do much better. 1,000-1,500 take home a week is ez to do.... 1 load a week to cover his fixed cost, 1 load to cover fuel. The rest is take home. If your lucky you may be able to get one of them to take him.

Most of the agents don't like to take in "lease purchase" trucks until they are close to the end (under 6 months). The reason is simple, if they take a lease/lease purchase in to their fleet and the driver quits they are required to keep the truck till the end and now they need to get a driver to run the truck.. BUT they have taken lease purchase truck in the past.. kinda depends on the mood they are in at the time you call

I've been with " let's go" April will be 6 years. Paid off my truck (not thru usx). A friend took a lease truck in to them then changed it over to a lease purchase and paid it off.
