Violations increase at I-95 truck weigh station

GREENWICH, Conn. State officials say violations among big rigs checked at Greenwich's I-95 weigh station have more than doubled since early 2007.

The boost comes after state troopers increased inspection hours at the station, one of six in the state where tractor-trailers and other large trucks are checked for safety and equipment violations.

Why don't they just say what it is instead of cherry coating it?????????

I-95 income has doubled for the state due to the cops actually doing their job...

Not saying they should be ticketing more trucks just to increase the states bottom line but it is what it is. They are simply now actually checking trucks....

I remember residents around this inspection station taking legal action involving its operation . Phil Donohue was one of those residents .
