what would cause a tune no to last,,,or what would prevent it from not being applied?
I had it bumped up at a cat dealer,,from 435 1650,,, to heavy haul 550 1850.. it's a 05 mxs.. it was night and day difference.. only lasy ccpl weeks and faded away.. had it checked throws no codes.. replaced wiring harness to actuators,,did injector test, max boost 17...
could some wire somewhere be broken???
ecm tune,,,,,,

Your tune is fine. They dont fade away.
Its something else.Ruthless Thanks this. -
Did you say your boost is 17 psi? That seems pretty low. I'd be checking the charge air cooler and intake piping first.
-
has new charge air,, and new turbo and piping all checked held 30 psi for more than min..with no drop.
-
Sounds as if derating. Usually, in my case anyway, it's IVA related.
Also, maybe, an exhaust sleeve going through the turbos. It will tear up the fins but still make some boost. -
it was turned up and faded ,,before,, I had it converted to single,, conversion made no difference. cant find out why it's derating so no sleeve's now
-
You put a single turbo on it? Are the VVA's working? That's probably why it's derating.
-
Ok did not realize you converted to a single turbo. I don't know what boost should be with that.
But let me get this straight you have a factory ACERT tune and a single turbo? -
That's the way I'm understanding it too and that ain't gonna work.
-
Not very well anyway.
