    I'm here strictly for the ability to take off time. Like the 21 days in Nov and 24 days in Dec I took off.

    Now, if I wasn't in a contract I'd already of left.

    Counting the days.....lol

    I don't mind the work... just the hassle, make money turning wheels not playing with tarps, chains, and straps.

    Honestly being in Chicago, brokers are a dime a dozen, thinking of just getting my own authority and taking my licks until my name is established... Thats actually the route i am now considering even more serious then the choiceboard. Just as long as i can keep the truck breaking even... My old lady makes decent coin so that always helps too.

    I've been here over two years and yes I have been a "fan" or else I wouldnt been here. I was raking on the cash, heck I even bought a Viper and could afford to more time off than when I was a company driver... even with THE HUUUUUGGGE Kenworth flease payments.
    Not anymore, I beeech more than anybody here it seems now (okay close call with TennMan and duddie lol).
    All the freight disappeared and rates go lower and lower. As soon as I figure out my exit plan that doesn't include more cheap freight I am out of here.

    $1.50 sucks if it's going to Texas, Northeast, Florida, Colorado, North Dakota etc etc.
    Where it's going is just as important as the rate.
