6 months ago I had my clutch adjusted and parked my truck. I havent moved it at all and suddenly while moving it around the yard it felt really hard. There's good free play its just hard to push down. I had to float the gears just to drive 2 miles. Where do i start on troubleshooting?
Clutch is hard...why?

You had the clutch adjusted immediately before parking the truck for 6 months straight? How much time between the adjustment and when you parked it?
-
yea i had to get it adjusted for dot inspection. then went straight to the parking yard. its just been sitting for 6 months.
-
Did you adjust it yourself or have a shop do it?
-
shop
-
Did it seem fine after leaving the shop and getting to your yard?
If it was me, I'd take it back to the shop. -
Do you have an air-assist on the clutch? Maybe the cylinder has failed.

just saw a video online dont think thats what i have just ol 10 speed -
Might be the cross shaft. Crawl under the truck look where the linkage goes to transmission, there will be a grease fitting on both sides near that shaft.
baha Thanks this.
