That's what I'm thinking as well. I would want the higher cpm vs more miles in general. Main goal now is to just find a company that won't screw me over as bad as the next. Flat bed carriers kinda swayed me in with the % pay vs cpm but even that could bite me in the end if i get the cheaper freight.

If I were going to do flatbed, I think I'd go to Melton. But they tell you up front, don't bother coming if you don't want to stay out 4 to 6 weeks, and they do a lot back east ( rain ).

Yeah i want to work for UPS but even they're open positions require 1 to 2 years experience. They kicked me out of the app as soon as i put 0 experience on the first page lol.

Were you looking at straight trucks for UPS or the Semi? Just curious. Not sure they would have uniform pants or shorts that would fit me. 34" waist 38" inseam
