If your being paid under 35 cpm you'll need to regularly average at least 3000 miles per week which is not hard to do that's only 600 miles per day. If you do a 5 day week.with your compulsory 1 1/2 day break.
Pontimaniac Thanks this. -
Millis pays .42 a mile and you do get miles with them

These guys pay well with decent benefits especially linehaul.
They have a few terminals in Ohio.FLYMIKEXL and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
I just looked into them but on they're website it says you have to have 1 year experience on both of they're job listings unfortunately. That would be my ideal hours too...

Thanks I'm going to call the recruiting line as soon as they're available. Only thing i didnt like was the home time. Kinda wanted to be home at least twice a week. I wonder since one of they're main terminals is within 25minutes from my house (trenton location) if i get the chance to swing by my house at least once a week during my 10hr reset possibly.

Thanks. I just emailed them now about the position. Couldn't find a website that broke down they're pay system for some reason when i looked.

lord people stop giving newbies terrible advice i know everyone is going to cry when i say this but this isnt the trucking everyone is used to. The having excperience to get a good job or make money is dead if you are a new driver you should either a get your own cdl and go ltl right of the bat yrc, abf, fedex, dayton freight and many others will hire you day one and you will be making that 1000 a week right of the bat second option is go through their schools to get cdl there is no reason any driver should be making less than 50 cents a mile and there should be no reason for someone to work at swift cr england rhoel sni there are to many good trucking jobs out here where you can get hired with no experience
Mike2633 Thanks this. -
apply they will hire you
