The driveshaft was pulled out, because he hit the truck so hard it actually broke all the brackets to the frame that held the suspension to the truck ! There was no skid marks found even behind the car,and he claimed in his statement on the accident report that he had his "Cruise control" engaged ! I made sure everything was clear before pulling into the intersection. He came in from my blind side into the mirror on the right side,as I was starting to turn is when I had any indication he was there. Had the width of the mirror to know he was there ! A lot of prior warning was not there. He hit me so hard from the right that he streached the left aorta in my heart (like a rubber band),and I had to have 6 inch stent put in on August 14,2006.because it collapsed. The Dr. said it was caused by the accident. The Dr. told me that I was 1/2 hr from not making it. My wife drove me to the hospital,if I had waited for an amblance I'd probably not have made it.Time was that critical...but we didn't know it at the time. Very scary. My Pastor showed me this verse Proverbs 26 vs 27. It has helped me get through this .When you read it, think of the "Road Runner" cartoon, and what happens to "Wylie Coyote" all the time. I told the Oho State Police "The longer you keep this up,the worse it's going be for you". We all have to pay for how we treat others, and it will come at a time when we can least afford to pay for it. Thanks for all your suggestions, and help.

There were witness there that told the Police they saw the car run the red light into the truck. The police told the (while i was standing there) "We're not interested ". The car was an Ohio STSTE OWNED vehicle, driven by an Ohio state employee. The guy that died was a patient of the Ohio state hospital. Now Who's neglience got covered-up by the Ohio Highway Patrol ? Sure not the "Out of state" truck driver.Just an update I just got a restricted Michigan driver's license to drive a car in 2015.

I appreciate your ideas. The state of Ohio refused to let Michigan reinstate my driver's license . I now have a "restricted" license to drive only a car in 2015. I filed a "disiplinary complaint" against the officers for writing a "False accident report", The police retaliated by telling Michigan that "I was a danger to others motorests on the road". I got a "Vehicuar Manslaughter" on my driving record. You can't fight a crooked system in another state. Equal Justice under the law is a joke.
