And they'll be going through those tests for months. This is an elementary school for pete's sake! Can't these idiots keep their drugs away from places like that at least.
-
Oh my.... This is just awful.. Why would anybody do such a thing? If you want to do drugs that is your choice but my gosh leave a needle around where kids play?
-
During the 60's at the park across from our house, we used to find baggies with glue and other things. I think one time there may have been a needle. It was close to when we moved out.
So needles and things have been left around for years.
Where was the training in the family like we had. DON'T TOUCH. -
You have a good point... I don't think people teach their kids these kinds of things much anymore..
-
That stuff is taught in the schools, and I sure teach it at home. We also cover things like that in the boy scout troop I am Scoutmaster for. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to be parents if they can't bother to teach their kids things like that.
Truckerjo Thanks this. -
What's the expression? You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Even sound, loving parents sometimes have children that take wrong paths in life... just as less than stellar parents sometimes have happy, responsible kids.
-
You nailed that there.
There are many that pass judgement on the parents incorrectly because of things the kids do.Ducks Thanks this. -
we had something like that happen recently around here... in a middle school a kid purposefully brought a needle to school and was pricking kids with it
-
As a parent of three boys, I do pass judgement in something like this. Something like picking up or touching a needle that's found on the ground is not one of those "open for discussion" things. It's like sticking the butter knife in the electrical socket or not wearing a seat belt - just not acceptable, not open for discussion, not up for debate.
Yes, kids do sometimes take the wrong path no matter how well they are raised, but that's an entirely different topic.
