No knock against trooper but the guy drove a year maybe more? I'll call on trooper when I need police advice. China is the company man!

I have two friends that graduated with me back in September. One went to Schneider and the other Werner and both want to find a better job at this point. Both are not getting many miles and have had to sit days for a load...
Schneider imo, new grad time with a trainer is too short and their trucks are too slow. My friend has already had a couple incidents..
Werner imo, their training is too long but I must say that my friend has been incident free and really liked the company at first. His problem now is that his paychecks are only around $450 per week and he's had to wait a few days for loads more than once.
Me...after going to a flatbed company with shiny trucks I quit due to being paired wit a fat, lazy, slob of a trainer.
I ended up putting a resume on Craigslist and landed an incredible job as a IC. They handed me the keys to a 2016 Cascadia and are running my buttons off. Truck is governed at 75mph and I'm given the freedom and respect we all deserve.
I get no benefits but I make incredible money for a newbie. My net take home for my first week ( four loads) was over $1,800...The other drivers with a lot of experience are pulling in $2,500ish a week.
Don't jump at the first mega that offers you a job because you are only going to be treated like cattle...and don't do what I did....choosing a company because they have shiny trucks
Think outside the box as I ended up doing and you may just land your dream job out of the gate..
Lastly...take Chinatowns advice...you won't go wrong if you do.Rocknroller4 Thanks this. -

Humble cents you gotta see which company fits or meet your criteria and needs, just because some drivers have gotten a bad experience doesn't mean it won't work out for ya. Good luck
