on three of my rear shocks i have stacks of washers. this kinda crap annoys me. i went to freightliner and they dont show any spacers. where do i get spacers? road king? what would kevin rutherford do? will a turbo 3000 come with spacers? how do i open my trailer doors? maybe there's spacers in there.... some guy the other night flashed me to come back over into the right lane, even tho i didn't ask to come back over. did that make my spacers disappear?

sigh....i just can't get these spacers out of my head. i need help....

Kevin Rutherford would send you to Pittsburg Power for some Micro blue shock spacers for your Freightliner and suggest you go to one of his trucking business seminars while your truck is down.

    TGUNKEL Thanks this.

Oh yeah he could well be hocking shocks and for a small phenominal fee you could add special economical spacers for your shocks that could save you$ .000001 of a mile to the gallon

First of all washers don't belong in the shock mounts, the shocks should have a spacer that go through the shock bushing.

I think those shocks are wrong ones for your truck and someone just put some washers in there to make it work.

The right ones have the bushing sticking out each side of the shock. No need for washers

Roger McG and dustinbrock Thank this.

And swaan beats me to it. Probably not the right shock for the mount.

I think the problem is you have the wrong truck for the shock.
So I would just bite the bullet and get the appropriate truck for the shock...

thats what i thought,or think, too. i asked the guy at FL about that,he said the shocks didn't change over the years with airliner but he was kinda shining me on at that point.
