I have an enhanced CDL in Washington State. Is that good enough to get me into all the Canadian provinces or do I need to get a passport too? I have heard that it's only good for BC and Alberta but my company likes to go to Quebec.
As far as I know, you will need either your passport or a passport card or FAST card to entry to Canada. A cdl just allows you to operate a cmv in US and Canada however getting in and out of a country it's under immigration jurisdiction therefore a CDL means nothing...also there are a few things that won't qualified you to enter i.e DUI, DWI...check in their website...
If you have an enhanced CDL you can enter any providence from any state. Fast card just makes the paper work aspect easier. It has no bearing on entering ports. No passport required with the enhanced CDL.
