Looked on the engine tag this morning and couldnt tell but its a 450/1650 and uses DEF. Put 105,000 pounds behind it and the exh temps stay hot.

Heat wraps could help for floor from being hot thanks to scr. truck I drove for a few weeks (container runs) is 2016 579 daycab with isx15 450/1750 with 10 speed junkshift smart advantage. Usually had load weight up to 35k lbs. Wont pull good because when I shift down to 9th, it will catch back the acceleration less 63 mph. Way Weaker than having the 08 t800 daycab with a direct drive 10 speed manual and isx400st/1750

I drive a 2005 built in 04 with pre DPF accert not in a 386 but a w900 and it's a beast. I run the pa turnpike daily and with cruise at 64 it walks up hills like nothing. I think the DPF model came out in 08 trucks

I have an 05 with the BXS 04 C15 pre-DPF ACERT in my Columbia as well. Was a 435/1650 motor. Its turned up to 500/1850 now and yes its a left lane motor on any hill.

DPF came out mid year 2007 on the C15. The 386 I had was a 2007. Had many guys argue with me that 2007 had no DPF till I popped the hood and showed them.

98% of people don't realize that emissions go by engine year, not truck year. Most 2007 trucks had 2006 engines in them, thus being called pre-emission 2007's.

    russtrucker and Hurst Thank this.

Hopefully, your not buying a truck that came off the paccar lease program and jxe isn't selling it.

Yep. The same thing in 03 with egrs. Most 03s have 02 engines so no egr.

Drove a company ISX, original motor, licensed and title as a 2008, no DPF filter. 2008 emissions sticker on it. I don't know how some made it through without all the crap but some did.

Nope. Looking for a Pre emissions, Pre ELD with a specific spec list. Hence,..my unicorn. Push comes to shove (Dec 17th) I'll buy something close and make it how I want.

When I was doing reefer I drove a 2008 T660 with the DPF ACERT. It was actually not a bad truck and pretty reliable.

Same company also had a few other ISX powered 2008 T660 that like you described,.. had no DPF. Funny thing was they all had the Cummins Certified Clean Idle stickers on them. LOL

I actually really liked the ISX that I drove. Power and torq was near identical as the ACERTs, but I crossed the Donner twice a week and the Jake in the ISX was so much stronger than the ACERTs.
