I made more money unloading trucks for walmart lol. I'd never be away from home for 12k PER YEAR. Ever.

His settlement sheet has to say around $250 in order for you to see good money. Operating cost is around $100k, so you are lucky to see that $12k. If he wants to be an owner operator, first he needs to drop that truck, get a job as a company driver, work hard and save as much as $15k. Then put $5k down for a truck, over $500 for 2290, $1000 for dyno, blow by, detailed engine check, detailed running parts check. After this whatever is left for will be used for cash flow.

Good for you two and good luck!!! Don't sweat anything but the kids right now. Get some cash flowing and fill the pantry and turn stuff back on. File an extension on taxes ( to Aug ) and don't sweat the carrier. They may blow smoke and threaten of they may ignore you..... no telling.

USX didn't waste any time getting the final settlement sheet sent to my hubby. $7700 in the hole.

Good thing you got out. Usx has a balloon payment of 43k after lease purchase is done. How nice of them, pay 600 a week for 6 years and make you take out a loan to finish and go to another company.

Thankfully the lease agreement my husband had didn't have a balloon payment. He had one of the last "L" lease agreements. The new "T" leases do. And they're worse.

I considered only because they, (a company inside a company) have been very good to me but honestly, there are too many companies that are better to company drivers.

It pains me.. I have had too many good friends that have signed to lease with them for X years. I only hope it works for them as I can tell. I wish for the best with you and your hubby, things look up almost always after a big company experience! Best of luck

no need for a lone unless your stupid.... just put a extra .22 cpm in your maintenance account and at the end of the lease you have to money to cover the balloon

Id like to see anyone at a mega to be able to put .22cpm away for end game use. They barely give you the miles to keep afloat as is.
