After all said and done and the new fuel prices came out today on Fuel Book, saw one big drop in the discount. Where I used to see anywhere from .25 to .40 gal discount at the TA/Petro and Loves, now seeing just .07 and Sapps and Flying J taken off the list. As example, today at the TA in Forrestel, with the discount, $2.32/gal and just across the street at Mr. Fuel, $2.19. Also looking at I-80 across NE and seeing the TA's above $2.40 and the independents and Sapps under this price.

Yea, I noticed the same, at first I thought fuel went up, then I realized discounts went down, are u still with a&a?
-
No. got tired of the games and 2100 miles or less a week.
-
No kidding with the "discount". Almost seems like they're giving us. 07 and keeping .30+ for themselves. Not to mention that they're keeping part of our fuel surcharge. Steal as much money as possible before they make a run for it and leave us high and dry.....

Yup I guess roadrunner found another way to get in an I/c's pocket. No raise in 5 years while they raised their rate 5o percent. Insurance went up, trailer pool went up, all those 6 figure chiefs they hired screwing up service times and dockworkers have to play Tetris with freight causing damage. They trimmed the safety bonus, signed an agreement with Ta and Loves to keep the discount and you watch, no more advance to the load. They will tell you it's the driver spending all their advance money but roadrunner is the one hurting for money.

The next step for these A Holes is bankruptcy. They'll walk away with our money free and clear. God bless them.

Lets add some more insult to the injury. Now today we are being told where we can fuel. Love's as the primary and then Petro/TA as a secondary and if we can find fuel much cheaper we can only get 50 gallons unless we pull it out of our pocket. Just the other day I found fuel at a QT for $1.88/gal. The Petro was $2.03 and the Loves up the road was $2.12. I think that my days here are numbered.

It sounds like we are getting turned into company drivers. Might be time for a misclassification class action lawsuit.

I remember back when I was with Swift and they tried this, and it lasted one day. I was told that there is one other company within RR that has been doing this for about 2 years, Rich Logistics
