    It might be L202 in the back next to the final( covered in wax so you cant adjust it) cb tricks said adjust for max TX so Im assuming that means carrier, I could be wrong, but I believe that was adjusted on mine to increase it from 3 watts to 5 watts.

    Probably would have to do some sort a "swing mod'. Like a cap and resistor near the final. The tuning coil near the final (l202) will adjust overall output power, not just dk. Ive not played with thes radios, if its all smt, like the 980, probably best left to a trusted tech.
