Any of you guys that are currently at Bruce oakley seen any trucks older than the 5 year requirement. I know the best thing to do would be to call and ask about an exception. Just curious to know what yall see out there. Thanks

They're several older ones here but when leasing on for the first time they're a little picky. Mine was 7 years old when I bought it but this is my 3rd truck here.

    jmsmith361 Thanks this.

Thanks for the replies guys. The truck I was offered today is an 05' good sound and clean truck already wet and blower equipped may be a Lil old for Oakley tho.

If you are just purchasing it then within 10 if nice and clean. If you already own it then just call them

    jmsmith361 Thanks this.

I am doing well with this company. They are good about getting me home. I asked my recruiter which division would get me home more and he said end dump. That is the reason I chose this division.

@blade I hadn't planned on them not considering me since the last time I was OTR was in the late 80's I guess 27 years running in Alaska doesn't count as OTR experience, after running as a 100 air mile radius hand, I still ran 90K miles or so a year in some pretty hairy country was't enough. funny how that works.LOL

Still seem like an awesome crew, shoot I may have to go bounce around in a pumpkin for 800 days I guess. thanks for checking in on me! woop woop

I think that's a great idea, I have heard of them & read all that I could about them in these forums, not a lot of info to chew on, I know my gross revenue has to be near or above 180K to support leasing a brand new truck, hopefully I can get the numbers to work out somewhere, unless I can find an old "overnight express" cabover somewhere...LOL
