Out of Bloomsburg,PA. Does anyone have any info good, bad,or ugly about them? It's been awhile since I talked to their drivers but everyone I ever talked to liked them. Been with JB 3 1/2 yrs never got a raise and now a paycut, I guess I gotta g-g-go.

Hey dave,
I had a good friend that worked for them, he ran the northeast region and was home most time. He enjoyed it but he also ran alot of city runs, lots of philly, tri state new jersey lots of metro areas. No nyc the closest he came was southern yonkers. He was fired for cheating logs, so all in all he enjoyed it had a nice freightshaker with a APU on it.
I hope this helps stay safe. -
I was wondering if anyone had any good /bad thoughts about metropolitan.. i am supposed to start with them on tues. and wanted some opinions
-
Keep us posted on Metro Trucking, I was thinking of going over to them also but could not find enough info to make an educated decision. Recruiter sounded good but you know how that goes!!! Anything you can pass on about Metro would be appreciated...GOOD LUCK!!!

I had a good friend that worked for them and all he said is the name says it all, lots of metro new york city, jersey, and phili thats about all i know he was unhappy with them with all the city work and has moved to crete carrier.
I hope this helps good luck in both your decsions -
well made it through orientation and my first week out,,, so far so good.. with the holiday last mon i was only out 4 days this week and hit 1900 miles in 4 days not to bad... i quit b-nunn because i did alot of sitting waiting for loads ,,,, except for a customer not wanting to give a empty to me i waited less then 30 min for any load that was given to me... people are real nice and because they are a smaller company it seems more one on one then a big company... just my thoughts .. i have talked to a few drivers who left metro and came back within 3 months liked this company better.. as for nyc tey really dont go in there .. very rare.... they have local guys that run out of our elmwood park,nj. terminal and do most of the so called metro loads..
just my thoughts hope it helps...Darius11 Thanks this. -
Hey Rhino:
Sounds like things have started off well. I am seriously considering an offer made by this company but due to the lack of information on the net I have "put it off." But then again, maybe no information tells the whole story. Nothing bad to report.Keep us posted on your progress and any "bumps" in the road.

Sounds good Rhino, keep me posted for the next couple of weeks. If things are still going good I think I'll make the move to Metro.
