Indiana is usually among the cheapest far as gas goes.. Never the cheapest but always toward the bottom... it has slowly been going down from $4.10 2.5 weeks ago... (hurricane) Probably will not go any lower....

One station in eight will have some gas here, but only for a short time. Long lines and much waiting at times. I filled up almost two weeks ago and still have over 3/4 tank. I just don't drive much anymore.

Alot of the gas delivered here has to come all the way from Wilmington, and the delivery ticket I saw today showed it was 10% Ethenol.

A woman I know who works for a fuel distributor says she never knows who will get gas next, or when.

    Imagine that
here in Canada we have plenty even to much :smt017

And to make a short story :director:

At. $3.75 for a US gallon
IT'S 3.75 litre to make 1 us gallon
IT'S 4.54 litre to make 1 Can gallon

    Now IT'S.$1,25¢ L X 3.75 =$ 4.68¢ US A GALLON :smt119
    ..............$1.25¢ L X 4.54 =$ 5.764 US A Canadian GALLON
    It was ....$1.50¢ L X 3.75 =$ 5.62¢ US A GALLON:smt078last week
    ..............$1.50¢ L X 4.54 =$ 6.81¢ US A Canadian GALLON :puke:.....Ad 10% EXCHANGE RATE :smt103

That's kind of CHEAP FUEL at $4.50 a us gallon :smt102 for us Canadian

From what I know the cost of living is a little cheaper in Canada then the US..
So, same as the places that have $10 a gallon of fuel they stick it too you a little more cause of this... (places that have the $10 fuel have much lower housing cost then America does..) So in the grand skeem of things it all equals out.. (almost)

Plenty in the North East, But we get the vast majority here from refinery's up here.
One of them is near our yard, and I talk to the tankers going in and out all the time. They have been very busy bringing it south, and there have been some backups, but it is flowing.
The problem is that they do not want to make it. Epically the diesel. Demand for gas is down, and diesel also. More so with gas though. In order to make more Diesel they have to make more gas. Since the demand is not there, they need to make less to keep the prices up. Nothing we can really do about it but complain.
The northern refiners have increased production though, to help cover the lower refining capacity down south.
I do need to start paying more attention though. I have a habit of not buying fuel till I am really low. Or in a cheap area.

The wife told me that she filled up at Walmart in Corinth,MS while she was in town today for $3.27 a gallon. It was $3.31 when she pulled into Wallyworld and when she left the store an hour later and went to the gas pumps, it had dropped 4 cents. We had some rationing here right BEFORE Ike hit, but never had stations run out and no noticable price spikes either.
