To answer the original question , Pilot Flying J has pretty good wifi at most locations . Its 150 $ A year . 5 or 6 meg but the latancy sucks tho . I use Verizon hotspot to fill in times when im not on wifi or wana play a game that needs latency/ ping

 

Have you ever used a gaming laptop before? I bought a nice ASUS gaming laptop and man even with a cooling pad that thing got so hot my palms sweat even while browsing the internet. I just found out and upgraded to Verizon Unlimited two days ago. It feels like I'm cheating since I have waited so many years for Verizon to go unlimited and they finally are. I know they tried it once about five years ago but cancelled it.

Gpu and processor make #### ton of heat, that heat have to go somewhere.
If you want cold laptop look for notebooks with ULV processors , yes you will not be able to play in anything, but due that low TDP(around 15w vs avarage gaming45) they should be cold no mattet what

 

Yup but they could have rearranged the processor to not be under where my palms rest I see some of their newer laptops changed this arrangement and I won't go higher than an Intel I5 anymore. When I was still gaming a few years ago I only played older games that require less power like Fallout 3 and Vegas.
