What do you Like the best?

Like high fructose corn syrup its fine in moderation...???? i dont know either lol, we started getting these cheese commercials on tv about that.

To answer the OP's question, i prefer my long hood paccar product, KW or Pete, with a yellow engine, CATERPILLAR. If your an O/O might as well go big or go home, to me saving a few bucks on fuel aint worth it to drive a vacuum cleaner truck.

 

Some people prefer Freightshakers, Petes, KW's, Stars and Volvo. I know one o/o that loves his T6 (c15 cat) and another that loves his columbia (c12). However, there are die hard pete and kw fanatics that refuse to drive any other brand. I believe 550 is one.

you people with your "it's a tool, what gets the job done" outlook on trucks cracks me up... And it's funny how most of you have no trucking experience. The thing you don't realize is that it's not just a job, or a tool/ That freakin truck will be your life. you live in it 24/7. If you don't like that truck you aren't going to like the job.

 

Exactly medicineman, that is why I prefer the unbeatable comfort of Volvo 770 and it gets the job done too( at a cheaper cost than others). Each to his own, I say

 

if that's what you like then you go with your bad self.. Personally I ind the volvo's to be cheap inside with all that hard plastic but like you say, to each there own. That's why there isn't just one brand of truck

 

I currenlty dtive a Volvo 780, co. tuck. It is quiet and smooth, however MM is right. You will be in that truck a LOT to pay for it, so you need to like it. If you can think of it as just a tool, well, more power to ya! But I need a bit more flash for my own truck. Ya its a pride thing I know!

 

Not only a pride thing path but once you get into your own truck it becomes your life!!!!

 

I know it is a matter of opinion but I have to ask, you mean to tell me that there is something more comfortable to spend hours upon hours inn, other than Volvos especially 780? I know to some it is a matter of pride to own a NAME, but that is all they own, a name, and costly at that. I prefer to be a nobody as far as the Brands go and/or chrome, bells and whistles...I prefer to see my pride at the end of a month in my bank account and for that I am willing to drive VOLVO. As I said, it is a matter of opinion.

 

How are you making more than oh say a guy with a W9 with a volvo when you spend most of the time at a dealership getting it fixed? Yes ultimate pwnage i know.....

Like i said previously hook up to a ice box and run west doing 75 then tell me how much better your fuel economy is over my KW... 2 friends with volvos cant seem to get better than me, even cant beat my old mans 379 with a 550hp 3406E CAT. Also if you really think nothing is as comfortable as a 780 sleeper you have obviously never been in a 86" KW studio or 70" Pete ultra sleeper with the big fold down bed.

 

Well sure I have been to petes and studios, but I still prefer Volvos. On the other hand, looks as if you haven't driven a volvo over a long distance...the comfort of driving volvos is huge over anything else.
