Never seen a McLane truck with a lift gate.
Our extra board guys get run ragged. I'm guessing $70k in the first full year is average at lower pay grades.

We had liftgates at sysco too. Used them at the Colleges. McLane uses a ramp most of the time the liftgate is only for certain applications.

I work in southern California (san diego) A mclane guy used to do kfc next to my stop every tuesday and he ramped it (no lift gate). Maybe he was from an out of state yard?

Made 68K at Sysco first year, no where near worth it for the hours I worked and physical and mental stress on your body. Thankfully in LTL now.

Maybe they have a lift gate or two for certain stops or concepts.
We have a short trailer here that goes to a couple universities, cedar point, and some other tight places we can't use a 48 footer.

I actually prefer to ramp it, when I did the chain restaurants in a 48 footer with lift gate and 1100 cases I would ramp it thru the side door. Those lift gates are too slow
