Nope. Not sure how they know if it's working right or how to recalibrate since there isn't anything else she puts on other than the mask. Maybe they just took the machine back into the back room, set it on the counter, had lunch, brought it back out and had her try take it back home. I personally think the CPAP and sleep apnea deal is like antibiotics. There are some that need it and benefit from it, while others are borderline, but are told to use one just as a money grab because their insurance pays for it.UKwildcatfan Thanks this.

I like you, you really help people, but there are too many know it all types on here. I did succesfully complete a sleep study or he wouldn't have told me I slept enough. If the CPAP is calibrated wrong, my doctor can up the pressure without me going back to sleep in the lab again. The main reason I started this thread is to know what guidelines trucking companys look at about CPAP. Do they just want to know if you have a machine, or do they want to know how it is calibrated or what??? But, mostly all I have got is know it all answers. Not from you, but from the majority on here.

@UKwildcatfan ....try peeled garlic under your pillow as u sleep...
I'm curious if it will clear the airway for some deep sleep as compared to that funky device -

That's your perception! Your attitude tends to see "know it all", when your brain should be seeing ADVICES & EXPERIENCE.
Sure, you may have gotten some 'smart ###' answers in your first two threads on this subject (don't know haven't read nor followed any of it)...but your skin should be thick enough to throw those to the way-side, and accept the advice and experience others have given you.
You frustrate so easy, you are NOT a good fit for this particular industry---I said that before, and you immediately dismissed it, rather than ponder it and make adjustments.
I don't care what you do with your account, delete, keep, whatever...but until you can adjust your attitude and start accepting challenges...WE (as a motoring public) are better off without you in the industry.KillingTime Thanks this. -
Anyone ever try a Breathe Right strip?
-
I may try that, I will use the CPAP they give me. I am not going back to that God forsaken sleep lab though. Period.
