tow operators don't arbitrarily or without authorization hack drivelines into two pieces.

Cant do that when he cant get reciepts. Anyways, now they say his check was taken because his home time 3 weeks ago put him behind on his payments. But still cant get pay stubs to prove whats been taken out and what aint. He got his ear blown off this morning cause I sent them a mean email stating he should have paystubs because its the law and they wouldnt work 70 hours a week for free like they were doing him. So he was told this morning to tell his wife(me) never again to call or email or even write to them. They want nothing to do with me. And said if I ever try to send another mean email like that again they take recourse on me. Although it was alright for them to do the same to me which I made copies of. He's only been driving a little over a month and I am so sick of this company I want to puke. I am to the point that seeing he's his own, and No income coming in for me to pay bills, Im done. Im not losing my house or anything because of this crap. I hate it. And I hate his job. I will probably not be on here again in a while, Im looking for work to pay my bills and pray I can find something. You all probably be glad get rid of me anyway here.

I'd say you were a thorn in their side.
More power to you!
I suspect they're afraid of you.
But I also suspect they shouldn't be, ...... unless they have things to hide.
go figure.
If I were you, I'd encourage them to "take recourse" on you.
But I seriously doubt they'd be anxious to air their dirty laundry out in a courtroom.
Call it a hunch.
I think I'd wait to puke until I had a face-to-face with the powers that be Trans-Am. :smt078

I agree.
But until the day comes when those practices are illegal, ......
there's no law against doing research before jumping in head first.
How many lease operators crunched the numbers and/or sought sage advice before they entered the road to riches, only to discover they were goin' the wrong way?
How about following things to a logical conclusion?
Heaven forbid they employ a little critical thinkin'.
I can't help feelin' sorry for many of them, but, ..................
I wouldn't wish that on any newBee --- and that's who seems to be suckered into such scams on a regular basis. Especially that company with those nice red Big trucks.
But what I find hard to fathom is HoW the HaiL do they LET themselves be duped?
They do though.
One after the other and plenty more where they came from.
A seemingly endless supply of non-thinkers, --- just dreamers standin' in line with stars in their eyes.
It makes me wonder,............................
would they buy a bridge?
I have a Golden bridge in San Francisco I'd sell --- to the highest bidder.
However, to help the new owner(s) out, I'll retain ownership of and proceeds from all the toll booths.
That's the least I could do.
ALL the new owner has to do is maintain it and keep it in good repair so my cash flow isn't interrupted.
Git 'er done.
So easy --- ONLY a caveman WOULD do it.

Hubby got to stay home 2 days. It doesnt matter anyways. They convinced him it would be more money. Lie! He's been driving that truck 6 weeks now, and has only 1 paycheck of $400. They said they took this paycheck because his hometime caused to him not to have enough to pay the truck payment even though he'd had 1500 miles that week before hometime. Which is an outright lie, because he got his only paycheck just after his hometime, why didnt they take that one? He signed a 6 month short term walk away lease. This is what he told me anyway. He's picking up a load in amarillo tommorrow and had 2 more loads waiting. The company canceled those 2 loads and told him to bring the truck back to olathe by Thursday. All I know is he'd better stand up for himself. Its bull the way theyve been treating him. Most of the time they will not even respond to him unless its a load. He told me tonight, he's already packed most of his stuff. What he could get in a duffle bag and a box. If he walks away I dont how he'll get home to Tennessee. I have no money for a bus ticket or anything else for that matter. I know he said if anybody ever mentions a lease again he will punch their lights out. Keep him in prayer, cause I have no idea whats coming next. And I sure dont know if he'll be able to hitch a ride all the way home from kansas to tennessee.

Man-0-Man, Eagle One ----
I've read your same story from others in the same position, and just about every one saddens me. How the truckin' companies are allowed to continue such practices is beyond my comprehension.
But they do.
What to do next?
I hope someone here has the right answers for y'all.
I wish your hubby the best, and hope is doesn't do anything he'll regret later, as well as now. Six weeks into a six month lease, and already there are major problems? That sure doesn't sound too promising.
Keep us posted?
