4 point air brake inspection.

Just passed Illinois' test. One pretrip question was, "what are the pedal grooves made of?"

and being "literal man" (as my wife has dubbed me) I wanted to reply, "nuthing, air I suppose". But I said rubber and that is kind of what he wanted to hear.

The first in our group came back and said, "man, he is like a spider monkey. Jumping all over from area to area."

He did not want to hear 1000 words describing ever single truck part. He wanted to know that you know the truck, whatever part he asked.

Yeah IL pretrip was a joke. My classmate from MI however had to do a full one but at least he could hit cones and still pass skills. Instructors ever told him if you hit a cone keep going, its only 1 point.

 

u guys are getting upset but this feed won't allow me to go back and see reruns 5page post. maybe others are having this issue too?

 

You brought a very dead thread back. If you will look at page 1 post 4 or 5 rerun had it deleted by a mod.
