Cigarette packs to carry graphic picture warnings

We have that in Canada for a while now, and it doesn't seem to do much.
People who smoked, still smoke, and the ones that didn't, still don't.

 

Even given the "EWWWW" factor, I am a smoker, have been for 30 years....this will not stop my addiction to smoking.
And, I seriously doubt that it will PREVENT teens from smoking.
Kind of puts in mind the old PSA ad's of the egg.."this is your brain...{frying egg} this is your brain, on drugs".
Didn't stop a whole generation to create, and use, even WORSE drugs....

It can’t hurt anything by putting pictures on packs. If it stops only a few people from smoking or gets a few to stop then its worth it.

 

I always thought it was funny
When the tobacco companies settled with the government
They agreed to spend money on talking people out of smoking

Although this does bring up a question in my mind as to what kind of pics will they put on a chocolate candy addiction.....

There ARE pictures of aborted fetuses in clinics.

Abortion and cigarettes/cigars/tobacco pipes, are ALL LEGAL in the U.S.

As for your question of "who suffers more"???
I would say the smokers....an aborted fetus suffers, yes, I agree.
But a smoker suffers, in many more ways than you would think....

Guilt
Blame
Health
Dependence
etc....
