What can a rookie in food service expect to make in their first year?

Anyone know what roughly the driver trainee pay starts at for Us Foods? I'm in Mn and know that it will vary from location to location.

 

At my location I'm pretty sure they started out at 20 an hour then 22 when training was done then top pay 23 and change after a year but its different from location to location.

 

Hello guys i am in meridian Mississippi and I have some options around me for foodservice delivery. Reinhart in Hattiesburg, sysco in Jackson and also Tuscaloosa. Merchants food near Jackson, and us foods all over the place. Im also considering mcclane but I've been told they run team and do rather long trips

Still am for training but i don't want to stay otr forever. Looking at my options after my year is up

 

Core mark might be a option as well, or ulf

 

We have a Coremark warehouse here in C-Town it opened maybe a year or two ago. We had quite a few guys quit and go over to Coremark, some made it there and some didn't.

 

Theres a big cm distribution center across the street from my barn

 

There a pretty big company they distribute to a lot of convenient store chains. I see them here running around a lot they have a lot of doubles and stuff going down the road as well. I think they pay okay, although I don't think they pay more then where I'm at right now.

 

Apparently the reinhart near me is just a yard not the actual dc. Th dc the yard is affiliated with is harahan/new Orleans
