Looking at both these companies to lease onto. Can anybody tell me anything about these two companies? If i go to page trucking I'll be running in their hazmat dirty dirt division. Looking at both companies pretty hard and will be leasing onto one of these two within the next week or so

Never ran for Bones but My friend Joe did for years as an O/O and then company. Never heard a bad thing about them and he paid off 3 trucks.

Hey rhmc how's it going with bones so far?
-
So far i really like the company. Revenue seems to be here. Only been pulling loads for a couple weeks though. But do far seems to be going great. They are going to electronic logs in a couple months but i should be exempt since I'm running a 1985 truck
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
That sounds good I'm in South Carolina do you think this area can be good for them? I was leaning towards signing on with us bulk but wanna find the right company. I have my own wagon.Oldironfan Thanks this.

I'm renting their trailer and get 89% then 8% rental a week. So basically 81% with 8% being a 100% tax write off. I plan on buying my own trailer in 2018. Living in ohio I'm pretty much home every weekend. Living in south Carolina it might be every couple weeks. My 3rd load with them went to sc just south of charlotte nc about 50 miles. They get stone i know out of North Carolina North of Asheville that they own. And I'd imagine with all the stone and sand quarries in the carolinas they get plenty of freight. But as to how much I'm clueless. I know they have 14 company trucks right now and about 20 contractors. I've pretty much been running between Wisconsin and western Pennsylvania which is fine by me because my preferred running areas are the I-70 & I-80 corridors between western Pennsylvania and the Mississippi. I considered us bulk at one time but i decided i either wanted to work for a small company like bones or go do dirty dirts with page. I'm giving bones am honest try and if i decide the revenue isn't enough I'll end up at page. So far I'm very happy with the revenue I've made on the miles I've run. Best bet is to call Paul Bones and talk to him about how much of the Carolinas they actually run. He was very honest with me and up front. They treated me like family from the get go. First day my pto pump burnt up and they put a brand new on for me and said i could just pay them back. That was before i even pulled a load. Which was nice for me because my bank account has gotten low after being off for 2 months and was still waiting for checks to come in to put me back up to a comfortable level. People have noticed how much calmer i am and less stressed that i am with this bones than my last company i was leased to. I'm very happy so far with Bones and hope to make this a long term contractJimmyWells and rodpiper Thank this.

Appreciate the info I will give a call

Their website only talks about company drivers. I've never had luck leasing with an outfit alongside company trucks. When push comes to shove they'll load their own trucks over the owner operators.
