The office has been attempting to recruit driver's for Canada since I started, they've mentioned more then once how good the roads are, I'm certain they aren't speaking of the outback but still, I beileve your roads are hairier then south of the border

I don't find the roads much different. I've been on some pretty small roads in PA, Iowa doesn't waste any asphalt on some of the 2 lanes etc.dca Thanks this.

Nice, Langley BC to mile 88 on the top of the world highway was probably without a doubt the most scenic run I've done or will ever do in my life. I loved it once you get passed Ft. St. john it was like complete solitude, just you and the bison. Very eerie feeling getting out of the truck in the morning for a pre trip at 4am (depending on the time of year) you just feel like a grizzly is watching you licking its chops.
I'd give anything to haul some more equipment up there -
Just walk across an unmanned portion of the border illegally and give the roads a shot, currently taking everyone who wants to come over, no immigration process needed, housing and welfare for all.
glad i got the hell out of canada, the country is going to #### because the PM only cares about how his hair looks in selfies, he's a complete useless tard.peterd, magoo68, Snow Walker and 5 others Thank this. -
A lot of trucks that run 129,101 and 144 are heavy haul guys pulling just that(80,000lbs). And it certainly does suck.
Have gone around some corners thinking I was at a safe speed grossing 140,000 lbs and losing sight of my wagon. Ehhhhh boy -
Pre-trip? What's that?

US 191 from Helper UT to Duchesne UT to "save time"... in a snow storm at night. Sounds like a major highway. It isn't. Not by a long shot. Summit of 11000 feet, 2 lanes only, some turns way too tight for a 53' trailer. No guardrails, barely any shoulders.
