I think that's wrong. Usually new grads start at 33, then 34 at 3 months and 37 at 6 months and then 39 at a year. Unless they changed it which would be dumb because Schneider owns Watkins lol. So why set the pay less.

Not a familiar with W/S but I have a friend at Styline Logistics doing the same job and he said milage pay is not as important for him because he makes more on the stop pay.
-
I said to her why should I accept that when Other companies are offering me 36. She said " well u would get more miles with us"
-
But how can I be sure that I will get the stop pay routes.Everything with a recruiter is so fluff! I cant trust any of them
-
Unless they changed after the acquisition, I though that was all they did out of NJ.
As far as milage pay, I can say I took a $.10 a mile pay cut to come.e to my present company, but I am running not quite double the miles on average, but close.
I make more money here. -
No she spoke about Home Depot and furnitureKMac Thanks this.
-
Ya that would be great. I'm wondering if I could maybe stop by the terminal to speak to somebody there?
-
Exactly the way it is with me. I never even look at miles. I worry about stops.KMac Thanks this.
-
Yeah you can. Just go in and ask for the terminal manager. They can tell you exactly what you will be doing. If not the manager a dispatcher. That's what I did when I was in school. I went and talked to the terminal manager and a dispatcher. And it's been exactly what they said it would be. And if they don't know the answers they can get the right answers for you. Plus I'm a face to face guy anyway so I feel like I can get more out of a person face to face. Guess I'm old school lol.
But I will be honest I went here to begin with because I didn't wanna ride with a trainer. I feel like I made a great choice. I don't get hassled about idling, nobody bothers me, and I don't sit waiting on loads.
Another thing to look at is, we are paid actual hub miles. Most companies only pay zip code to Zip code which could short you a lot of miles.
What I turn in is what I get paid for. -
Ok that's perfect for me I'm absolutely an old school face to face guy. All my jobs over 24 years that's exactly how I got them but I know auto dealer business I don't know this business yet. At some point could u get me info on the terminal. I'm not even exactly sure of address- Kearny or Sayreville
