Since I did both.
Driving a bus in the war zone ( NYC) and tractor trailer everywhere.
I can say from experience the bus is less stress.
Maybe you could try interstate bus driving.
In the busy summer you won't get any rest, but you won't be in the city dodging cabs and pedestrians all day.
