Maybe I'm missing your point. An IC gets paid an amount per load. Why are you getting hung up on projected miles?

 

I do enjoy it. And I will run my truck as I see fit. If you're no longer here why you dumping your hate all over the place? If you don't like comments that don't agree with you why post? You love spreading hate and discontent until someone disagrees, then you claim someone is trying to run your truck for you.

 

Who' s sitting around for low rates? I know some people don't want to hear this. Some of us are doing fine. I have good weeks and bad. But mostly good weeks.

 

Sounds like somebody came over thinking they know it all failed miserably now bashing everything... is it perfect over here no no place is but sounds like somebody got their Cheerios crapped in..

 

Tuesday morning out, Saturday afternoon in, $1900 to the house.......no sweat. Frankly, I'm kinda chapped about the whole CMS thingy and the box folks have become increasingly unreasonable, but for right now, it ain't a bad gig....

 

I unloaded and reloaded at the same places for about 8 years.

Choice works for some and not for others, it all depends on the persons situation and where they live. For me, it was no longer worth it. Again i moved back to Florida last year and its been harder to make the money I view as "worth it" for myself, factoring in the time i spent out VS time home. I didn't want to leave, with me it was sort of that i had to leave. Im not sure if ICA's have their selected drivers they don't mess with, when i say that, i mean cancelled loads, changed appointment times ect... but adding those issues with terrible rates and no sign of them going up soon if ever.. I couldn't do it anymore. There are people that have been here longer than me that have seen it dive south more than i did, but in my 2 years here it has gotten far worse in every way then when i first started. Im sure there are people still managing to do well, and im sure SFI still has a line wrapped around the building, twice.. but for me, i am very happy I don't have to deal with Schneider and all their BS any longer.
