    I am not here to debate the hardware. I have no control over that. What I can control is the falsehood's mentioned by this store manager.

    Is there a way to factory reset the device? "boot mode"?

    i want to wipe all my data, to format my microSD, restore to the state like "fresh from the box"
    i tried factory reset from settings but anyway remains the history in truck gps... updates.

    To do this would require an OS Flash. Now you are referring to the "Micro SD" as the Tablet SD memory?

    Why would you consider this and not instead of just deleting the correct folders in Tablet SD Card and in the .navi folder?

    Maybe he wants to factory reset the device and start over again. People do that with their phones and tablets.

    They did a factory reset, but on the Tablet it does not affect the .navi folder at all. It only affects the Android side.

    If they are looking to "clean" up User information it is contained in two folders. Not hard to delete the correct files and let the App rebuild them.
