What method do you all prefer to use when buying fuel?
I currently use a comdata card provided but who I'm leased to with no discounts or I'll use my debit card.
When home I have a local card lock place I like to patronize.
I run most of the lower 48, I'm looking for a card that gives me the best discounts and is accepted at major truck stops...
Preferred fuel card/best discount program

I'm leased to a company getting fuel from Pilot/Flying J @ cost + pricing with no swipe fees. A couple of weeks ago in Monteagle, TN the cash price was $2.55 a gallon and my price was $2.00 a gallon. What's not to like about that? And there's a Pilot on every corner. I use truck stops for fuel and don't really care about the poor service restaurants or overpriced merchandise inside.

How could I go about getting discounts like that for myself?
anyone ysing the OOIDA card? -
Yes I'm OP, and run uder they autority, ifta.
It is Apex EFS fuel card.
We used to have fleetone yaer ago, but they didn't give me discount back, but now with this card i have app where i can see prices.
And with fleetone i used to fuel like 2 times 100g, just to make 2 showers at 1 fueling, but this card won't allow me to fuel 2 times at 1 fueling, even I have 1200$ limitLogan76 Thanks this. -
By far the best fuel program out there for an oo that doesn't get a discount or only cash price would be nastc. I use them when I don't have access to the fuel program my biggest customer offers me while I pull there freight. Nastc makes for a very good backup card to have as well.
Plus the new app for nastc is pretty nice with the routing tool. It'll show you all the fuel stops along your route and the price. The app could be improved even more, but it's far better than the last version was.Logan76 Thanks this. -
Map feature only works when you enter in your start and end cities, then it'll show you the fuel stops. The way they talked about the map feature, it sounded like it would use your location to show you the fuel spots around you and it's prices but it doesn't work that way.
When you open up the map view, in the bottom right you'll see a circle with a diamond and arrow in it, click on that. That takes you to screen to enter your start and stop locations.Logan76, Tropsnart and ChicagoJohn Thank this. -
Thanks. I Just tried it and now it works great. I would of never known that. LolLogan76 and redoctober83 Thank this.
